Master's Degree in Informatics
Master of Science in Informatics is a 1-year master’s programme for those who wish to continue studying Informatics after completion of a bachelor’s degree programme. With the growing application of new technologies in the majority of industrial and non-industrial sectors, it is also growing the need of highly specialised profiles.The Master of Science in Informatics trains students for approaching latest and emerging technologies in related to computer science, by deepening their theoretical knowledge and sharpening their soft skills. The curriculum is structured to provide the acquisition of a diverse set of skills that are applicable to a wide range of company departments and sectors.
This 1-year program helps students develop tools essential for navigating the growing realms of information and communication technology related to computer sciences, such as: Software Engineering, Information Systems and Computing Processes. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to work through system engineering, learning technology and databases.
In order to access a Master’s Degree Programme, students must be in possession of:
A Bachelor’s Degree Diploma corresponding to level 6 of the EQF/MQF, achieved in an accredited Institution in the country where the qualification was achieved;
And/or Diploma Supplement or University certificate listing the exams successfully undertaken, as well as the detailed programmes and the hours of theoretical and practical didactic activities required for the award of the degree.
Certificates/Declarations released by an ENIC-NARIC centre or other certificates explaining your foreign qualification status/level;
Language certification - minimum requirement C1 for Masters Programmes
The learner will be able to:
Demonstrate design, implementation, testing and evaluation capabilities
Analyse the architecture of an information system
Explain the difference between different information system
Illustrate the functioning of technologies within this context and understand how to utilise them
Identify the information context of any organisation
Employ skills in programming
Developing appropriate methods of analysis and critical interpretation of the structures and dynamics of of such systems
Express specific aspects of emerging technologies and understand what is in store in the near future
Support the existent web standards and learn to use them
Combine the use of different tools in order to provide advanced solutions
Acknowledgement of the Traineeship Activity
Upon completion of the traineeship, students are required to submit to the competent office the following documentation:

Application for recognition of the traineeship activities and relevant ECTS gained;
download the form -
Certificate of Traineeship undertaken, to be sent on letterhead, signed and stamped by the company tutor;
download the form - Brief report on the activity undertaken during the traineeship hours, signed and stamped by the company tutor.
